Facility Use Application: The following are required to book the facility: A damage deposit, signed Facility Use Agreement and signed Policies and Procedures, and a one day General Liability insurance policy insuring RCYC (Rock City Yacht Club, LLC) against any claims made by Renter or invited or uninvited guest including alcohol clause. We do not hold facilities with a damage deposit on file. One additional adult may be listed on the Facility Use Agreement as Alternate Contact Person. Renter and Alternate Contact (if any) must be at least 21 years of age and at least one MUST be present during the entire event unless approved 30 days prior to the event date. Renters are responsible for the conduct of all members of their party. Disorderly conduct, intoxicated persons, or disturbance of the public peace will result in being required to vacate the premises, as well as forfeiture of damage deposit and rental fees. Reservations are accepted up to 6 months in advance.
Rates and Fees: Facilities are rented by the day or half day. Rates are based on party size. We do NOT book events having over 200 guest. Large events may be required to have a courtesy officer.
Guest list of 10 or less:
2 Hours or less and $250.00 No damage deposit
No decorations
Guest list of 50 or less:
Full day (7am to 8pm) $800.00 $500.00 damage deposit
Half day (7am to 1pm) $450.00 $500.00 damage deposit
Half day (2pm to 8pm) $450.00 $500.00 damage deposit
Guest list of 50-100 people:
Full day (7am to 8pm) $1500.00 $500.00 damage deposit
Half day (7am to 1pm) $ 800.00 $500.00 damage deposit
Half day (2pm to 8pm) $800.00 $500.00 damage deposit
Guest list of 100 to 150:
Full day (7am to 8pm) $2,300.00 $500.00 damage deposit
Half day (7am to 1pm) $1,200.00 $500.00 damage deposit
Half Day (2pm to 8pm) $1,200.00 $500.00 damage deposit
Guest list of 150 to 200:
Full day (7am to 8pm) $3,500.00 $1,000.00 damage deposit
Half day (7am to 1pm) $2,400.00 $1,000.00 damage deposit
Half day (2pm to 8pm) $2,400.00 $1,000.00 damage deposit
Request to extend rental time past 8pm will be considered on an individual basis. Extended hours MUST be pre-set for approval. If approved the Renter agrees to pay an additional $75.00 an hour. Extended hours are NONREFUNDABLE. *Guest defined as the maximum number Renter a) has invited b) RSVP received, c) or expects at most. Refunds are not issued if even event size is less than expected and actual size is less than initially paid for.
Booking Deposit: Is required upfront to book your event and reserve the date. Booking deposit is 50% of the rental fee cost plus the full damage deposit in order to secure a date for reservation. Rental fees must be paid in full thirty (30) days prior to the event. Rental fees not paid by due date are subject to a $25 late fee per business day. Failure to pay rental fees in full by the due date may also be deemed cancellation by Renter, at the option of the Marina. Bookings made less than 30 days prior must pay ALL FEES in full at the time of booking. You are required to have one attendant on site for every 50 guest attending your event. All facility rental attendants are at $40.00 per hour.
Damage Deposits: 100% of the Damage Deposit is due at time of submitting the Facility Use Application to securely reserve a date. DAMAGE DEPOSITS ARE REFUNDABLE. Refunds are contingent upon the condition of the venue following your event. Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of your event.
Please note that it can take up to 6 weeks for a check to arrive or a credit to show on a cred card statement. Payment methods are: Visa/Mastercard, Cashier’s Check, Bank Check. *Note: Rock City Yacht Club reserves the right to adjust deposits amounts based on party size and activities.
